Cat6 wiring & Reolink cameras
In Bulls Gap, I ran Cat6 for the home’s network and installed 12 MP Reolink PoE cameras. The homeowners can view the cameras on their bedroom TV or check them from a phone or computer while away.

What does PoE mean?
PoE means Power over Ethernet. A compatible wired camera receives power and carries video through its Ethernet cable, connected to compatible PoE equipment. I review the camera system and cabling requirements as part of planning the installation.
Can I view the cameras on my phone, computer or TV?
Those options depend on the camera system, network connection and viewing equipment. Phone or computer access needs compatible software and the right setup; TV viewing needs a compatible TV input or supported viewing method. We confirm the options during the walkthrough rather than assume every camera supports every feature.
How do we plan camera placement?
During a walkthrough, we discuss the areas you want to see, mounting locations and possible Cat6 cable routes. I review access, the compatible system and any hardware or setup you want included before confirming the scope. Existing equipment also needs review before it is included.
